Commercial Account Executive - Kent - up to ?40,000 plus potential bonus of ?20,000 plus excellent benefits
Our client is a leading broker actively seeking an experienced individual to join their expanding team to deal with commercial risks. Ideally with an existing book of business, you will be able to hit the ground running.
You will assist client?s needs to devise suitable solutions wherever possible and identify potential gaps in cover.
Produce new business from referrals and identify cross selling opportunities.
Support the activities of Field Staff and Directors.
Manage files in line with Company Procedures.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers and other suppliers.
Undergo training in line with agreed objectives and keep up to date with technical, legal and market developments.
Main skills required
Strong sales and negotiation skills, ability to work to strict targets and work well under pressure in a very competitive market.
Knowledge of commercial insurance risks and be up to date with market trends
Good IT skills and confident, personable nature
The ability to work well within a team
Be able to prioritise and organise own workload
Confident and effective telephone manner
Ideally CII/ACII qualified
Must have at least 5 GCSE?s, or equivalent, grade A-C including Maths and English
Full clean driving licence essential
