Switch Mode Power / SMPS Design Engineer - Maidstone, Kent

As Switch Mode Power / SMPS Design Engineer you MUST have some switch mode / SMPS experience. Switch Mode Power / SMPS Design Engineer will be offered a salary of ?30-?40k neg + pension plan. You will be joining an organisation that provides a range of highly specified products and services for restricted environments including Defence, Telecommunications and Aerospace.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support in the preparation of Technical Proposals including cost issues
Design and development of new projects to meet customer requirements.
Record all aspects of the project design, development and design activities
Hardware test and de-bugging both at company site and customer premises
Support Production Department in areas relating to the design and performance of production hardware
Prepare for and attend meetings with customers
Liaise with various departments on project design and development
Attend and support internal Design Reviews.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Experienced Power Supply Design Engineer with a degree in electronic engineering
Capable of providing technical and financial control of own development projects.
Proven conceptual design experience and an ability to design to low and medium volume production cost targets.
